Jaida Pryor, MS, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist Associate

The way you tell your story influences the way you live your story, and my aim is to support you in developing a story that promotes a quality of life that connects you to yourself and the people in your life that sustain you and ground you in Love. I serve individuals, families, and couples, and as a relational therapist, my goal is to partner with you in telling and re-telling your story in ways that serve you and empower you to live the best version of your life. Moreover, I utilize Narrative Therapy and a biopsychosocial-spiritual model to offer intentional support as you seek the points of clarity necessary to unlock the life that you want to live.

I graduated from Texas Woman’s University with a master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy. As a student, I completed the Minority Fellowship Program funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. This program provided me with training that strengthened my delivery of culturally competent mental health and substance use services.

I have also worked across a range of domains and capacities, including hospital-based outpatient clinics, the juvenile justice system, and private practice. I am happy to be part of the team offering services at Move Toward Change and am looking forward to exploring whether working together would be a good fit.

I am licensed in Texas (#205373), and I am supervised by Hawanya Miller, LMFT (#203524), AAMFT Approved Supervisor Candidate.

I am a multi-generation Texan, so I love the legacy and history offered by the communities of which I am a part. I am an alumna of Duke University, and athletics is an area of life that I integrate into my therapy practice. I also volunteer with the North Texas Food Bank.
