I have over ten years of experience serving individuals and couples. I seek to assist people in enriching their lives with meaningful, loving, and compassionate relationships. I utilize Gottman and Emotional-Focused Therapy tools to orient You toward finding solutions and tools that work.
In the past two years, we have collectively engaged in identity, relationships, social justice, and overall wellness challenges. I have expanded my services to include therapy to address diversity, racial/ethnic trauma, international/expat concerns, cultural conflicts, and identity development.
I am licensed in California (#135686), North Carolina (#1369), Florida (#MT3523), Texas (#203524), and Hawaii (#MFT-654). I am an AAMFT-approved supervisor Candidate and am currently under mentorship with Dr. Thelma Rouse, Ph.D., LMFT-S, LPC-S of Texas. I provide clinical supervision for MFT-licensed associates in Texas and North Carolina. I will accept California-licensed associates in January 2025.
I graduated from Nova Southeastern University in 2006 and served in community mental health agencies, managed care organizations, and private practice.
I am active in my communities and a proud alumna of Spelman College. I also volunteer with Girl Scouts, the Junior League of Dallas, and Give An Hour. I am a proud member of Eta Eta Lambda Black Women Business Sorority.
My first available appointment is on the 3rd and 4th week of October.
I accept Aetna, Anthem BCBS, BCBS, Cigna, Magellan, Medcost, Tricare East & West, and UHC/Optum. I participate in a few EAPs and accept self-pay. I have two slots quarterly for sliding scale and pro bono.
